COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Each week during the 2023-2024 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.

This week's Terp of the Week goes to Bri McDaniel of the Maryland women's basketball team. McDaniel led the charge for Maryland in a dominating 99-51 win over Towson Tuesday. McDaniel tied her career high with 19 points, 7 rebounds and a career-high 6 assists. She scored 9 of Maryland's first 11 points as the Terrapins jumped out to a 23-8 lead at the end of the first quarter. She went 4-4 from the field in the period and 8-11 for the game. She added a steal and a block as well.

The Terrapins will host James Madison (8-3) Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the XFINITY Center.
