COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland football program signed 21 student-athletes to national letters of intent to play football for the Terrapins during the early signing period, which concluded on Friday.
The 2024 class is currently ranked No. 34 by Rivals.com. It's highlighted by five four-star signees – OL
Ryan Howerton, DB
Brandon Jacob, DB
Braydon Lee, WR
Mekhai White and RB
DeJuan Williams.
The Terps signed 11 of the top 45 players from the state of Maryland, including the No. 2 ranked running back (Williams) and cornerback (Lee).
The 21 student-athletes hail from six different states and Canada. In addition to the state of Maryland, the Terps added three players each from Pennsylvania and Virginia and one each from Canada, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina.
The Terps added 13 players on offense (8 offensive lineman, 2 running backs, 2 wide receivers, 1 quarterback ) and 8 players on defense (5 defensive backs, 2 linebackers, 1 defensive lineman).

Lloyd Irvin III, Jacob,
Keyari James, Lee,
Anthony Reddick, White and Williams.
The remainder of Maryland's 2024 signing class will be announced in February.
