Schlotterbeck's Two-Homer Game Powers Terps In 10-0 Shutout Win Over UMES

Trinity Schlotterbeck was the story of the night for the Terps, finishing with a three-hit game, including two home runs, recording six RBI and scoring three runs. She also came in relief of starter Courtney Wyche, striking out two in a scoreless inning of work. Schlotterbeck started Maryland's offensive onslaught on Wednesday with a two-run homer in the bottom of the second inning and continued in the bottom of third with an RBI double. Her second homer of the night capped off a mercy rule victory, a three-run shot with no outs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Kiley Goff had a multi-RBI night, driving in two on a two-run single following Schlotterbeck in the second, and both Sammi Woods and Jaeda McFarland drove in a run for Maryland, who recorded 10 hits in the win, scoring multiple runs in the second, third and fifth innings, respectively.What a night for @trin_1223 ‼️

Wyche had everything working on the mound for Maryland, retiring the first 12 batters she faced in a row before giving up a leadoff single in the top of the fifth inning.
