Big Ten Announces 2027 Conference Schedule

ROSEMONT, IL- The Big Ten announced its 2027 softball schedule Tuesday afternoon, with the Terrapins set to compete in a 24-game conference slate beginning March 12.
Maryland will open conference play on the road against Purdue from March 12-14 before returning home to host Minnesota from March 19-21 for its first home conference series of the season.
March 26-28, the Terrapins will travel to Iowa City to take on Iowa before returning to College Park for two consecutive home series against Penn State (April 2-4) and Northwestern (April 9-11).
On April 16-18, Maryland will travel to Piscataway, New Jersey, to face the Scarlet Knights in a three-game series before heading west to Los Angeles from April 30-May 2 to take on UCLA in its final road trip of the Big Ten season.
The Terps will round out the regular season at home against Ohio State from May 7-9 in College Park.
Game times have not yet been announced and will be released closer to the start of the season.
