COLLEGE PARK, MD - Maryland track and field will head out for a local split meet weekend, participating in the UVA Challenge and the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational. The UVA Challenge will air live on ACC Network Extra on Friday from 7-9 P.M.

Kamryn Henderson (hammer), Luke Tobia (hammer), Katie Altieri (5000m) and Michaela Bracken (400H) all broke into the Terps' all-time top 10 in their respective events
For the second week in a row, Rhys Allen set a personal best in the discus
Sarah George (hammer), Cliff Carty, Sophia Zell, Eric Albright (1500m), Kirstin Nichols, Hannah Mack, and Claudia Dolan (5000m) all set personal bests
Anna Coffin continued her strong season, running a quick 1500m, with a time of 4:23.49

Meet the Coaches

Head Coach Andrew Valmon is in his 19th season with the Terps track and field team. Valmon brings an abundance of experience, having been the head coach of U.S.A. Track and Field for 2012 Olympic Games, a 2-time Olympic Gold medalist, being part of the U.S.A's 4x400 team in both 1988 and 1992.
Associate Head Coach Danielle Siebert is entering her 12th season as a coach with Maryland, and boasts an impressive resume as a memeber of the U.S.A Track and Field, serving on multiple International team staffs. Siebert also competed for the Terps from 2002-2006.
