Maryland Selected As Finalist For 2023 NACMA Marketing Team of the Year

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland marketing department has been selected as a 2023 National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) Marketing Team of the Year finalist, presented by PrestoSports, as announced by the organization.

"We're thrilled and humbled to be identified as one of the best marketing departments in the country," said Senior Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing Strategy & Fan Experience Jordan Looby. "At its foundation, this honor awards passionate collaboration and teamwork across all areas within our department -- not just Marketing. Our unit is grateful to be surrounded by many amazing, hard-working people who are truly committed to driving the Maryland Terrapins brand forward; this honor would not be possible without their pride and dedication."
 
Maryland has already won the award twice, both in 2015 and 2020. 

Maryland is a finalist in eight different categories: ticket revenue campaign, fundraising campaign, sponsorship campaign, digital media engagement, membership drives/event attendance promotion, affinity group marketing, single game attendance/sellout campaign and gameday experience

Maryland is one of three finalists for the Marketing Team of the Year award, along with Temple University and the University of Texas. 

The Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, June 12 starting at 10:00 a.m. ET. The ceremony will announce the winners of the 2023 Marketing Team of the Year, presented by PrestoSports.
