Charlottesville, VA - The Maryland women's tennis team wrapped up their first competition of the fall season at the Wahoowa Invitational on Sunday, with four Terps picking up their first wins playing for Maryland.
 
Maria Budin, Aida Eissa, Ela Platenikova, and Katherine Hung picked up their first wins playing as Terps.
 
Minorka Miranda, Kallista Liu, and Francesca Feodorov returning for another year with the Terps picked up their first wins for the fall season as well.
 
"We had a great first weekend out competing. We got a lot of quality matches in, both singles and doubles," Head Coach Katie Dougherty said, "We're at a great starting point for this point in the fall and I'm excited to see the growth of this team over the next couple weeks as we continue competing."
 
Maryland won six doubles and nine singles matches over three days of competition.
