COLLEGE PARK, MD - The University of Maryland women's tennis team will be competing at the ITA All-American Championships. Pre-qualifying will be held from Sept. 30- Oct. 1, qualifying from Oct. 2-3 and the main draw will be held from Oct. 4-8.

The Terrapins will be sending five players to All-Americans, three more than the 2022 All-Americans where the Terps sent two players.

"We're looking forward to having Selma, Maria, Mary, Mino, and Kallista compete amongst the best of college tennis at the ITA All-American Championships," Associate Head Coach Ruth Seaborne said. "To have five of our student-athletes compete in this event is a testament to the hard work that these young women have put in to their individual and collective growth."

"The Terps are ready to go and we look forward to this opportunity down in Cary, NC," Coach Seaborne said.

The Terps will open the competition with #124 Kallista Liu and Selma Cadar competing in pre-qualifying for singles. Maria Budin and Minorka Miranda will compete in pre-qualifying for doubles.

#38 doubles pair, Mary Brumfield and Selma Cadar are set to compete Monday in the qualifying draw.

Selma Cadar and Mary Brumfield previously competed at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic with Cadar going 3-1 in singles and the pair going 1-1 in doubles competition.

Maria Budin and Minorka Miranda saw their first competition for the fall at the Wahoowa Invitational with the pair going 2-2 in doubles competition.

Kallista Liu also opened her fall season at the Wahoowa Invitational.

Draws and scoring updates will be posted on the Maryland Tennis X account and on the tournament website.
