Maryland Gymnastics Announces 2024-25 Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, MD — The University of Maryland gymnastics program has released its 2024-25 competition schedule, as finalized by head coach Brett Nelligan and the Maryland athletic department on Wednesday.

"The 2025 schedule is packed with exciting opponents, new destinations and home meets our fans won't want to miss," Nelligan said. "Every weekend features exciting match-ups with some of the best gymnastics in the nation."
The GymTerps will host three dual meets this season along with two quad meets at the XFINITY Center in 2025, most notably hosting the B1G Four meet. While hitting the road for seven competitions leading up to the 2025 B1G Championships in Ann Arbor, MI.

Maryland opens the season with its annual intrasquad Red vs. Black Meet, which will take place on Dec. 8. The Terps will begin competition by traveling to San Antonio, Texas to compete in the Collegiate Invite. Followed by the first home and Big Ten meet of the season against UCLA on Saturday, Jan. 18.

Nelligan's squad hits the road for an away dual against Nebraska on Sunday, Jan. 26. One more away meet follows, with the GymTerps traveling to Rutgers for a quad meet with Fisk and Utica on Sunday, Feb. 2. 

Big Ten competition continues back at home against Penn State on Friday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. The GymTerps then travel to the West Coast to meet Washington in a dual meet on Friday, Feb.14. Big Ten competition continues back at home hosting Iowa on Friday, Feb. 21 beginning at 7 p.m. Maryland closes out Big Ten competition by hosting the annual Big Four Meet where they face Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota on Saturday, March 1 at 6 p.m. 

The GymTerps will finish out the month of March by traveling to Temple to compete on Wednesday, March 5 at noon. Maryland then travels to Connecticut for a non-conference competition against Yale along with LIU on Sunday, March 9. Maryland will then compete close to home at GW, alongside Towson on Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. The Terps will host their final home and event of the season in a quad meet against Towson, GW, and Yale on Sunday, March 16 at noon. 

Postseason competition begins with the Big Ten Championships between March 21-22 in Ann Arbor, MI. The NCAA Regional meets will take place between April 2 and 6. The NCAA semis and finals will take place between April 17 and 29.
