
No. 18 Terps Defeat Seton Hill In First Exhibition Of 2024-25 Season

COLLEGE PARK, MD – No. 18 Maryland women's basketball defeated Seton Hill (Pa.), 108-37, in its first exhibition game of the 2024-25 season at XFINITY Center on Sunday. Three Terps scored in double-figures, and eight newcomers made their debut.
Maryland took control early and expanded its lead to 48-18 at halftime. The Terps remained in front throughout, engineering several long scoring runs and leading by as many as 71. Kaylene Smikle led the team with 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting. She added four rebounds and two assists.
Other standout performers were Sarah Te-Biasu (14 points on 5-of-8 shooting), Amari DeBerry (10 points and seven rebounds), Mir McLean (nine points and 14 rebounds) and Ava McKennie (nine points).
