
Kanpai Leads Terps at Landfall

WILMINGTON, NC -- Junior Nicha Kanpai led the way for the Maryland women's golf team at the Landfall Tradition event at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C. this weekend.
Kanpai tied for 16th, her third top 20 finish this year to lead Maryland. She earned a score of 217 (71-71-75), which was +1.
Freshman Anna Pillard earned a score of 226 (75-75-76) and senior Panassaya Somchit shot a 227 (75-73-79). Freshman Chananyu Chowiwattana earned a score of 228 (71-78-79). Junior Daniela Burgos Ortega finished with a score of 231 (81-70-80).
As a team, the Terrapins finished 10th out of 17 teams with a score of 890 (292-289-309).
