
No. 18 Terps Top Frostburg State In Final Exhibition Of 2024-25 Season

COLLEGE PARK, MD – No. 18 Maryland women's basketball defeated Frostburg State, 90-40, in its second and final exhibition game of the 2024-25 season at XFINITY Center on Wednesday. Four Terps scored in double-figures.
Maryland took its first double-digit lead at 3:14 in the second quarter and remained in the driver's seat the rest of the way. Kaylene Smikle led the Terps with 21 points while shooting 10-of-19 from the field. She added eight rebounds, seven steals and two assists.
Other standout performers were Shyanne Sellers (18 points and five rebounds), Allie Kubek (15 points and six rebounds), Sarah Te-Biasu (12 points, six assists and five rebounds) and Amari DeBerry (six points, nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks).
The Terps open the 2024-25 regular season on the road at UMBC on Nov. 4. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN+.
