Women's Soccer Announces Two Signings for 2025 Recruiting Class

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland women's soccer program announced the newest members of the program for the 2025 season. The class includes a pair of players that will bring their unique skill set to the women's soccer program. 

This class illustrates the continued effort of the program to bring in players from all over the country to continue to grow the brand of Maryland women's soccer. Both players signed in this period each have numerous high school and club honors, including all-American honors. In addition to their athletic achievements, each future Terp has a myriad of academic accomplishments, while also dedicating their time to multiple charitable endeavors.

Before Maryland: Plays club soccer at Bethesda Soccer Club… Three-star prospect… Ranked as the No. 109 player nationally and the No. 12 player in the Mid-Atlantic Region by TopDrawerSoccer… Earned all-American honors following the 2023 season... A two-time First TeamWashington Post All-Met selection in 2022 and 2023… a three-time ECNL All-Conference performer… three-time All-State honoree… Set high school freshman, sophomore, and junior goal records each season and was team leading scorer all three season

Personal: Parents are Astor and Marquette Heaven… Has three siblings: brother Miller and sisters Andie and Marlee… Sister Marlee plays collegiate soccer at the Naval Academy… Father Astor played collegiate football at the Naval Academy… is a volunteer with Shavvim, a program where kids and teenagers with disabilities are given an equal chance to play and enjoy soccer… volunteers with Little Rockets: A clinic where she coached and worked with kids in elementary school… Bethesda Soccer Club camp counselor… four-time honor roll member… Born February 2, 2007.
Why Maryland: "It is the perfect place for me and so close to home. The team, program, school, and all of the resources make it special and will set me up for success."

Before Maryland: Plays club soccer for Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals… Three-star prospect… Ranked as the No. 10 player in Pennsylvania by TopDrawer Soccer… helped lead club team to three consecutive GA conference championships… Attended US Soccer Youth National Team ID Camp in 2022. Attended GA National Talent ID Camp in 2022 and 2023… helped lead Central Bucks Beast High School to District and Conference championships in 2024… Named Second Team All-League in 2022… three-year varsity team member.

Personal: Parents are Kevin and Michele Gray… Has two siblings, Elizabeth and James… Sister Elizabeth plays collegiate softball at Villanova… Mother Michele played collegiate softball at Villanova… Has over 75 hours of volunteer work through 10 different clubs and student council in high school… Distinguished honors and AP scholar with honors in high school… Born February 6, 2007.
