She brings a wealth of competitive experience and has been steadily improving over the past couple of years- highlighted this summer getting to the Semi-finals of Clay Courts. Lucia is a great competitor, she's incredibly driven and committed to her tennis and improving. She's a fighter, extremely quick, and her game style will be an asset in college. Lucia is a great fit for Maryland and our program and we're confident she'll thrive here."
