COLLEGE PARK, MD – The original Under Armour school, the University of Maryland, will be debuting exclusive special edition uniforms for Saturday's road game at No. 1 Oregon inside Autzen Stadium. Maryland has been at the forefront with revolutionary cutting-edge uniforms since joining forces with Under Armour in the early 2000s. The relationship started with UA founder and CEO Kevin Plank playing football and serving as a special teams captain for the Terrapins and graduating from the university in 1996.
These state-of-the-art uniforms feature an icy white base with iridescent numbers and Script Terps on all-white helmets. Matching footwear and gloves with the iridescent blend will be worn by the players, featuring a shell pattern embedded in each accessory.
Maryland and Under Armour continue to challenge industry standards by embracing unconventional inspiration and materials. The numerals and marks with a nod to historical uniforms create a unique interpretation of school colors using iridescence owned exclusively by the University. The iridescence contains an uninterrupted blend of gold and red.
Black and white are used throughout the fabrics of the uniform to create a minimalist stark-white silhouette. Maryland's four-quadrant flag is reimagined and reproportioned to create a sophisticated expression of Maryland Football's brand identity.

Maryland will be the first university to debut Under Armour's latest cleated models: the UA Blur Pro, UA Spotlight Pro and UA Spotlight Pro Mid. These cleats will feature a flooded red base with the same dynamic color-shifting effect featured in the uniforms. All models feature a tonal Terrapin print on the upper paying homage to the university's nickname.
The gloves worn by the Terps are flooded red with the same dynamic color-shifting TPU UA logo to tie back to the uniforms. All styles have the tonal Terrapin print.
