Felton Named to the AFCA FBS Coaches' All-America Team

WACO, TX. — University of Maryland standout wide receiver Tai Felton has been named to the AFCA FBS Coaches' All-America Team, it was announced on Friday.
Felton was named a Second Team All-American, joining Ryan Williams of Alabama and Jeremiah Smith of Ohio State at the wide receiver position. Tetairoa McMillan of Arizona, Xavier Restrepo of Miami and Nick Nash of San Jose St. made up the first team.
Felton is Maryland's first All-American since linebacker Tre Watson in 2018 (Football Writers Association). Tight end Vernon Davis and linebacker D'Qwell Jackson were the Terps last AFCA All-Americans prior to Felton.
Felton, who was a First Team All-Big Ten selection , led the conference in both receptions (96) and receiving yards (1,124). The Ashburn, Virginia native finished tied for fourth in the Big Ten with nine receiving touchdowns.
Felton's 96 receptions were the most among all Power Conference players this season and set a Maryland single-season program record. A Biletnikoff Award semifinalist, Felton had five or more receptions in 11 games and he led the conference with five 100-yard receiving games.
Felton ended his time as a Terp ranked Top 5 in every major receiving category at Maryland. He ranks third all-time in career receptions (172), fourth in receiving yards (2,207) and tied for fourth in receiving touchdowns (17).
Felton has accepted invites to participate in both the Reese's Senior Bowl and the 2025 NFL Combine.
