
Armanie Coleman Named Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week

Coleman set school record in 200 meters at Navy Invitational.
Each week during the 2024-25 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.
This week's Terp of the Week is sophomore Armanie Coleman of the women's indoor track and field team.
Coleman set a new Maryland record in the indoor 200 meters after winning the event at the Navy Invitational in 23.69 seconds – a new Wesley A. Brown Field House facility record as well. She bested the previous record by 0.41 seconds which was set by Tia Burley at the 2001 ACC Championships. Coleman's previous personal-best in the event was 24.78 seconds. Coleman was also part of the fourth-place 4x400 relay team (4:03.78).
