Elijah Lambros and Alex Calarco also hit home runs in the game. Lambros' was a two-run home run that contributed to six unanswered runs for Maryland (11-4) to begin the game. Calarco's was a solo home run that served as the dagger. Logan Koester received the starting nod on the mound and came away with his fourth win of the season. He pitched six innings and struck out a season-high five batters. He also surrendered just two runs on five hits. Nate Haberthier entered the game and allowed just three hits in the final three innings. He recorded his second save of the season. - Chris Hacopian and the Terps struck first as he opened up the top of the second inning with a leadoff home run to left field. Maryland added three more runs in the inning on an RBI single from Devin Russell and RBI walks from Eddie Hacopian and Sam Hojnar. Maryland took a 4-0 lead.
- The Terps took a 6-0 lead after Elijah Lambros hit a two-run home run to left field in the third. Jacob Orr came around to score the other run.
- Charlotte got on the board with an RBI sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third.
