Terrapins to Host Selection Sunday Party

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland women's basketball team (19-13) will host a Selection Sunday watch party for friends and fans on Sunday, March 17. The Selection Show will air at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. Fan can RSVP here.
Parking will be open in lot 4B and fans can enter through gates B and D. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
Fans can enjoy ice cream and join the Terrapins in section 114 to watch the show.

The Terrapins are projected to earn their 14th straight NCAA Tournament bid, dating back to 2011. A 2024 NCAA tournament invitation would be the Terrapins' 20th under Frese in her 22 seasons in College Park. Under Frese, Maryland is 41-17 (.707) in the NCAA Tournament and 53-29 (.646) in 30 total appearances.
Last year, the Terrapins advanced to their 11th Elite Eight and seventh under Frese. She has led Maryland to 11 Sweet Sixteens, three Final Fours and the 2006 NCAA Championship.
The NCAA First and Second Rounds will be held at campus sites March 22-25. NCAA Regionals will be played in Portland, Ore. and Albany, N.Y. March 29-April 1. The Final Four is April 5-7 in Cleveland.
