Alexa Rothenbuescher, sophomore
Madeline Komoroski, and freshman
Natalie Martin all received this honor for the first time in their college careers.
Rothenbuescher has earned this award after a standout senior season competing on floor, vault, and bars. The Fairfax, Virginia native has been a consistent leader on these events setting new career highs on all three events this year. Rothenbuescher has career-high scores of 9.925 on bars, 9.950 on floor, and 9.850 on vault. The Senior has also been named a WGCA Scholastic All-American in 2022 and 2021 and also named to the Academic All-Big Ten the past two years.
Komoroski earned All-Big Ten honors after consistent high marks on beam and floor. Komoroski set a career-best score of 9.925 on beam at the Maryland Quad. She also put together a stunning performance on floor at the Big Five meet at Penn State, which landed her a career-high of 9.950. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Native was also named a Big Ten Co-Freshman of the week last February.
Martin has had a sensational freshman year competing in three events contributing greatly to the Terps' success. Martin scored a competition and career-best 9.925 on vault at the Yale Quad. That next weekend Martin scored a career-high 9.950 on beam at the Temple Quad. The Westerville, Ohio native landed a 9.900 career-best score on floor twice so far this season. Martin was also named a Big Ten Gymnast to Watch prior to the season and a Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week this year.
