Maryland Falls In Second Game At Northwestern

EVANSTON, IL – Maryland baseball lost the second game of the series to Northwestern, 11-1, at Rocky Miller Park on Saturday.
The Terps are now 22-14 overall and 4-7 in the Big Ten while Northwestern moved to 12-19 and 2-6 in the conference.
Eddie Hacopian went 3-for-4 for the Terps to extend his hitting streak to nine games. He also has hits in 17 of his last 18 games with a .431 (31-of-72) average in those 18 games.
In his first start of his collegiate career, Michael Iannazzo had his first extra-base hits with a pair of doubles and his first two-hit game as a Terp. Also, Riley DeCandido had his first college hit with a single in the ninth.
