COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Each week during the 2023-2024 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence in and out of the gym, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.

This week's Terp of the Week is Maryland Gymnastics' All-Around gymnast, Emma Silberman. 

Silberman, a graduate student, has had a decorated gymnastics career. In what could be her last collegiate gymnastics meet ever, she scored a 9.950 on vault at NCAA Regionals this past Friday in Gainesville. Emma is now named a Regional Co-Champion on vault after her impressive performance. Silberman also currently holds the number four spot for Maryland's all-time scorers. 

Emma has played a major role in the GymTerp's success, where they have qualified for the last six Regionals since she began as a freshman.
