COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland track and field team will send 10 student-athletes to the NCAA East First Round in Lexington, Kentucky, the most the school has had since 2021. These student-athletes qualified for the first round by being in the top-48 marks in the region in their respective events. The list of participants and the events they will be competing are as follows:

Mekhi Abbott - Javelin
Andrew Harmon - Hammer
Tolu Akinduro - Triple Jump
Eric Albright - 800m
Morgan Graham - Discus
Anna Coffin - 1500m
Kevin Collins-Â 200m
Discus thrower
Rhys Allen would have qualified as well, but was forced to withdraw due to injury.Â
Competiton at the NCAA East First Round will begin on May 22nd.
