Maryland Announces 2024 Fall Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland baseball team announced its Fall schedule on Thursday.
The Terrapins will open the fall on the road as they travel to face Virginia on Oct. 20. The Terps return home for a second fall game, hosting Georgetown on Oct. 26 in College Park. Game times for both games will be announced at a later date.
The Terps will close its fall schedule with its Fall World Series at Bob 'Turtle' Smith Stadium. Game 1 of the World Series will be on Nov. 8. Game 2 will be on Nov. 9, with the Fall World Series concluding on Nov. 11. Game times for the Fall World Series will also be announced at a later date.
The Terps are coming off a 2024 season where they tied for the sixth-most wins in program history with the 2002 team with 34 wins. Head coach Matt Swope helped lead the Terps to their most wins under a first-year coach. The Terps return a host of key players from last season, including freshman all-American Chris Hacopian, as well as all-conference performers Eddie Hacopian and Elijah Lambros.
