Coleman set new program record in 60 meters, won two events at Nittany Lion Challenge.
Each week during the 2024-25 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.
This week's Terp of the Week is sophomore Armanie Coleman of the women's indoor track and field team.
Coleman added to her school record collection claiming the 60 meters title on Saturday at the Penn State Nittany Lion Challenge. She accounted for a pair of Maryland's four event wins on the day taking the 60 meters and the 200 meters. She started the day by setting the program record in the 60 meters with a new personal-best time of 7.43 seconds.
The Jacksonville, Fla., native added a win in the 200 meters (24.49 seconds) – an event where she set the school record in the opening meet of the year at Navy back in December.
