Shyanne Sellers of the No. 8-ranked Maryland women's basketball team (16-1, 6-1 B1G) was named Big Ten Player of the Week Monday for her fourth career weekly honor.

Sellers, a communication major, continued her dominant streak with carrying Maryland to a 99-92 win over No. 24 Minnesota Tuesday. She dropped a season-high 27 points with 9 rebounds and 7 assists. She went 9-11 from the field, 3-3 from three-point range and 6-6 at the free throw line. She scored 15 points in the second half as Maryland gained some separation.

Over the last three games, Sellers has scored 24.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and averaged 69% from the field and 23-25 from the free throw line.

The Terrapins will play three straight games against teams ranked in the AP Top 12 this week. First, the Terrapins will play No. 7 Texas (17-2, 4-1 SEC) Monday, Jan. 20 in the inaugural Coretta Scott King Classic in Newark, N.J. The Terps and the Longhorns will tip off at 5:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

Maryland will play at No. 12 Ohio State (17-1, 6-1) Thursday in Columbus, Ohio. The Terps and the Buckeyes will tip off at 6 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. Maryland will return home to host No. 1 UCLA (17-0, 6-0) Sunday at 2 p.m. at the XFINITY Center in the Terps' annual Black Out game.
