LINCOLN, NE – Maryland Gymnastics was defeated by Nebraska 196.325-195.950 on Sunday at the Devaney Center.
The Terps ended the competition on beam. Two Terps, Alexa Rothenbuescher and Lauren Brendlinger netted career highs. Rothenbuescher scored a 9.900 to lead all competitors, and Bredlinger earned a 9.850. As a team, Maryland scored 49.325, bettering Nebraska's 48.975.
On the uneven bars, Sierra Kondo showcased her incredible skills, scoring a team-high 9.875. The Terps scored 48.925 as a team. Natalie Martin scored a team-high of 9.800 on the vault.
