COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The University of Maryland women's tennis team will be traveling to face Columbia on Friday, Jan. 31 and Notre Dame on Saturday, Feb. 1. Columbia will be hosting both matches.

The Terrapins are coming off the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Austin, TX, going 1-1. The Terps earned their first win of the season against BYU, taking the match 4-2.Â

Tamari Gagoshidze stood out for the Terps, clinching the doubles point alongside Katherine Hung by overcoming a 4-2 deficit in the No. 3 doubles match to win 7-5. Gagoshidze then took the No. 5 singles match 6-1, 6-3.Â

Columbia most recently lost to No. 23 UCF 4-2, and Notre Dame is coming off a 7-0 win over Butler.Â
