COLLEGE PARK, MD – No. 11 Maryland returns to action Friday with a match against Ohio State, followed by a Sunday game against Michigan State in East Lansing.

  • Maryland picked up its third shutout win over No. 12-ranked Michigan on Friday, 1-0.
  • The first half featured just three shots as the two top-15 teams got a feel for one another. Maryland attempted a quartet of corners, but the defense from both squads was largely stifling for the majority of the first half.
  • Maryland broke through on its third shot of the match as Ella Gaitan scored her fourth goal of the season.
  • Maci Bradford picked up her team-leading fifth assist as the Terps took the 1-0 win over the Wolverines. Alyssa Klebasko posted the 14th shutout of her collegiate career (third of the season) while making a pair of saves.
  • With the win, the Terps opened their conference slate 2-0 for the first time since 2022.
  • On Sunday, the Terps lost at home 2-1. The Tigers netted the contest's first two goals and fought off a late rally from the Terps to become the first team to beat Maryland at home in 2025.
  • Princeton scored late in the first half on a goal from Beth Yeager. The Tigers took a 1-0 lead into the half on their only shot on goal of the first two quarters.
  • Princeton out shot Maryland 9-1 in the 3rd quarter and found its second goal of the day on a shot from Ella Hampson.
  • Maci Bradford responded with her fourth goal of the season in the fourth quarter to get the Terps on the board.

  • Freshman Jordyn Hollamon has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week twice this season (9/2, 9/22)
  • Sept. 2 - Hollamon helped Maryland to a 2-0 record in the Conference Cup with wins over Stanford and Villanova. She assisted on Maryland's first goal of the season and scored her first two career goals against Villanova.
  • Sept. 22 - In just 37 minutes of action, Hollamon contributed a goal off a penalty corner and threaded a long pass on Feliz Kuhne's goal that made the ESPN SportsCenter Top 10. She helped Maryland improve to 5-0 at home.
  • Junior goalkeeper Alyssa Klebasko was named Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week for September 15
  • Klebasko posted her 13th career shutout as No. 10 Maryland defeated No. 13 Saint Joseph's, 1-0 in College Park.
  • She tied her career-high of six saves in the 3-1 win over Penn and Allowed one goal in 120 minutes of action on the weekend (Sept. 14), helping Maryland improve its all-time record at the Terrapin Invitational to 22-2.
