The teams competing in this tournament include Maryland, UPenn, Princeton, Drexel, Temple, St. Joseph's, Cornell, and William and Mary.
This will be the first time the Terps have competed in the Cissie Leary Invitational.
The Terps will send six representatives from the team, including
Katherine Hung,
Aida Eissa,

This will be Eissa and Hung's second Fall tournament this season, after going a combined 4-2 in the Bedford Cup in September. The rest will be making their Fall season debuts.
The two freshmen, Donnelly and Baniak, will be making their Terps debut. Donnelly, a New York native, was ranked on Tennis RPI's recruiting class #28 for 2025. Baniak, from Piasek, Poland, previously reached the final of the U18 Polish National Junior Championships.
"We're very excited to head up to Philadelphia to compete with some good programs in the Atlantic and surrounding regions," said head Coach
Katie Dougherty. "The team has been doing a nice job raising their intensity these past couple of weeks in practice, and we're looking forward to seeing this reflected on the match court, as well as seeing some new doubles combinations. The matches this weekend will be a good introduction to the fall season to help prepare our players for a successful Regional Championships later this month."
Following this tournament, the Terps will send several players to Blacksburg, Virginia, to compete in the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships, which will take place from October 16th to 21st.
