Terps Fall in Round of 32 of NCAA Championship to #2 Seed Oklahoma

ORLANDO, FL – Emma Ghirardato and Ema Kovacevic fell to the #2-seeded doubles team, Roisin Gilheany and Gloria Nahum, 6-4, 6-2 in the Round of 32 of the NCAA Championship.

Sophomores Ghirardato and Kovacevic qualified for the NCAA Championships after finishing 3rd at the East Sectional Championships. They also made a deep run at the ITA Atlantic Regional championships, falling in the final. The pair is the first team in 14 years to qualify for the NCAA Championship. 

With this result, the Terps wrap up a stellar fall season. The Terps will be back in action on January 18th, hosting a doubleheader with Georgetown and Howard.
