BALTIMORE, MD- The Maryland Terrapins (3-0) traveled to Baltimore Friday evening and delivered a commanding performance over the Morgan State Bears (0-4), defeating them 39-7 and moving to 3-0 on the season.
Abram Cline got the Terps off to a strong start with a 5-0 decision over Jimmie Jones at 125 lbs. Braxton Brown and Mekhi Neal added to the team score with victories by forfeit, while Oscar Williams recorded a decisive technical fall at 285 lbs and AJ Rodrigues earned a 15-2 major decision at 165 lbs. Dario Lemus contributed with a pin at 141 lbs. Dom Solis and Branson John added key wins, with John notching a dominant 19-3 technical fall and Solis securing a hard-fought decision thanks to a late takedown in the final 10 seconds.
Despite a strong team effort, Morgan State managed to secure two wins.
The Terps will be back in action Friday, December 5 when they head to Washington, DC to take on American in another dual.
