
Maryland to Play in 2026 Oui-Play Event in Paris

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland women's basketball team will open the 2026-27 season on the international stage in the Oui-Play Paris 2026 event, as announced by Complete Sports Management Monday afternoon. Maryland will tip off the 2026-27 season against South Carolina on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026 at Adidas Arena in Paris, France.
The Terps' matchup with the Gamecocks is one of two in the 2026 event, with Oklahoma and North Carolina matching up in the other game. Tipoff times will be announced at a later date.

"What a way to start the season, in the 'City of Lights', Paris, France," head coach Brenda Frese said. "It will be a great experience on a national stage for our program as we tip-off the first game of the season against South Carolina. What an opportunity for our team and fans to travel internationally. We also hope to make some new Maryland fans in France."
