Maryland Baseball Announces 2026 Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The University of Maryland baseball team has announced the schedule for the 2026 season. This upcoming season's slate features some of the best programs in the country, including three programs that appeared in last season's NCAA Tournament.

The Terrapins return multiple key contributors from a season ago, including Brayden Martin and Aden Hill, who both made 55 or more starts during the 2025 season. The Terps welcome an impressive list of transfers into the fold with the likes of Antonio Morales (Wake Forest), David Mendez (Vanderbilt), Rylen Stockton (UNC Asheville), Ryan Costello (LSU), Jackson Sirois (Virginia), and Lance Williams (East Carolina).

Maryland begins its season in Wilmington, North Carolina, taking on UNC Wilmington in a three-game series Feb. 13-15. The Terps will then welcome Georgetown to Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium for their home opener on Feb. 17.

The Terps go back on the road as they head south to Lafayette, La., for a three-game series at Louisiana-Lafayette Feb. 20-22. Maryland will continue the road trip in Newark, Delaware to take on Delaware on Feb. 24. To close out the month of February, the Terps will welcome Wagner to College Park for a three-game series Feb. 27-Mar. 1. Maryland will then take on Delaware again, this time at home on Mar. 3.

The Terrapins will head down south again, this time for a series at Troy (Mar. 6-8) before traveling to West Virginia University (Mar. 10) for their last game before Big Ten play.

The first conference series will be vs. Purdue at home from Mar. 13-15. The Terps will then travel to Richmond, Va. to take on Richmond for a mid-week clash on Mar. 17. Maryland will then travel to Los Angeles for their first series at UCLA since they joined the Big Ten (Mar. 20-22).

Maryland will then take on Virginia at the Fredericksburg Nationals Stadium (Washington Nationals Single A Affiliate) on Mar. 24 to renew an old ACC rivalry. The Terps will then continue Big Ten play as they welcome USC to Maryland (Mar. 27-29). It will be the Terps' first time facing USC since joining the Big Ten. Maryland will close out the month of March when they welcome Richmond to "The Bob" on March 31.

To open April, the Terps will then travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on Ohio State (Apr. 3-5). Maryland will then play back-to-back mid-weeks at UMBC on Apr. 7 and then at Navy on Apr. 8 before welcoming Indiana to College Park (Apr. 10-12).

The Terrapins will then take on Towson at home on Apr. 14 before a trip to Iowa (Apr. 17-19). The next mid-week will take place at Mount St. Mary's on Apr. 21. Maryland will then travel to East Lansing to take on Michigan State from Apr. 24-26. The Terps close out the month of April at Georgetown on April 28.

Maryland opens the month of May by hosting Michigan (May. 1-3) before traveling to Towson on May 5. The Terps will then take a short trip North to take on Rutgers (May 8-10) for their final away Big Ten series. Maryland will close out the season hosting Penn State from May 14-16.
