COLLEGE PARK, MD --Â The University of Maryland women's tennis team defeated St. John's 4-0 on Sunday at the JTCC.
The Terps moved swiftly through doubles, with Diya Challa and Danielle Hack taking the No. 2 doubles match 6-2. They were then followed up by Kallista Liu and Ema Kovacevic taking the No. 1 doubles match 6-1, securing the doubles point for Maryland.
The Terps quickly moved ahead 2-0, after St. Johns defaulted in the No. 2 singles match.Â
Kallista Liu added to Maryland's lead, winning the No. 1 singles match 6-3, 6-1. Tamari Gagoshidze took the No. 4 singles match 6-2, 6-2. Clinching the 4-0 victory for the Terps.
Oliwia Orlinska, Diya Challa, and Aida Eissa were all leading in their singles matches when the match was clinched.
