
Beardsley Signs Pro Contract with Houston Dash of NWSL

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Maryland women's soccer goalkeeper Liz Beardsley has signed a professional contract with the Houston Dash of the NWSL.
In her two-year career in College Park, Beardsley played and started in 37 matches and logged over 3,300 minutes of game action. Beardsley made 141 saves in her time at Maryland, which ranks as the 10th-most in program history. Beardsley set a career-high with 74 saves in 2024 and put up five shutouts. Beardsley had 11 shutouts in her time with the Terps, which are the ninth-most for a goalkeeper in program history. Beardsley had a career-high eight saves in three matches with the Terps, with the last coming against Northwestern on Sept. 24, 2024. Beardsley protected the net throughout her time with the Terps, making five or more saves in a game 13 times over her two years in College Park.
