COLLEGE PARK, MD – The University of Maryland women's tennis team lost to No. 11 Ohio State 4-1 on Friday in College Park.

Ohio State opened the match by taking the No. 2 doubles match 6-2. The No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches were hard fought, with Ohio State winning both 6-4 simultaneously to clinch the doubles point.
Ohio State's Luciana Perry opened singles by taking the No. 2 singles match 6-3, 6-2 over
Ema Kovacevic. Ohio State took the No. 3 singles match over
Danielle Hack 6-0, 6-3, pushing Ohio State ahead 3-0.
