
Terps Lose Series Finale To No. 15 Oregon

Maryland and Oregon (24-10, 12-6 Big Ten) were tied at 3-3 after Aden Hill drove in a run on a groundout in the bottom of the fourth. However, the Ducks plated five runs in the top of the fifth to gain control. They led from that point on and closed out the game to earn the series win.
Hollis Porter was the other Terp to drive in a run. He hit a two-RBI single in the first inning.
Eddie Hacopian, Chris Hacopian, Jacob Orr and Elijah Lambros were other Terps to record at least one hit. Eddie Hacopian now has 207 hits in his career. He's nearing he's Charlie White (210 from 2011-14), who is ranked 10th on Maryland's all-time hits list.B1| Hollis gets the scoring started in game two

Joey McMannis made his sixth start of the season on the mound. He pitched two innings of scoreless and hitless play, striking out two batters.
Jake Yeager, Devin Milberg, Andrew Koshy, Ryan Van Buren, Omar Melendez, Logan Koester and Ryan Bailey appeared out of the bullpen.
Breaking Down The Action
- The Terps took a 2-0 lead at the bottom of the first. Hollis Porter hit a two-RBI single.
- The Ducks tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the third. However, Devin Milberg escaped a bases-loaded jam as Maryland forced a double-play.
- Oregon plated another run in the fourth to lead 3-2. However, once again, the Terps escaped a bases-loaded jam. Andrew Koshy recorded the three outs, two of which occurred when the bases were loaded.
- Aden Hill drove in a run on a groundout to the second baseman to tie the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the inning.
- The Ducks scored five runs in the fifth to lead 8-3. They hit a three-run homer and a two-run homer.
- Oregon scored another run in the fifth to lead 9-3.
- Maryland loaded the bases in the eighth but couldn't plate a run.
- Eddie Hacopian scored one run, giving him 146 for his career. He broke a tie with Brian Patenaude (1998-2001) and is now 12th on Maryland's career runs list.
- Hacopian is also one of 14 players in program history with 200 hits. With 207 in his career, he's nearing 10th place, Charlie White (210 from 2011-14).
