Baseball Announces 2026 Big Ten Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland baseball program has released its conference schedule for the 2026 season. This year's Big Ten slate features the Terrapins' first trip to California in conference play. The Terps will have five weekend series at home, hosting Purdue, USC, Indiana, Michigan, and Penn State.

Maryland begins its conference schedule at home on March 13, with Purdue making its way to College Park. This series is followed by its first trip to California on March 20, for a three-game series with UCLA. This will be the first time the Terps have played at UCLA since the 2015 NCAA Tournament. The Terps then close out the month of March as they welcome USC to Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium for a three-game set.

The month of April will see the Terps hit the road three times, first going to Ohio State (Apr. 3-5).  The Terps will then return home for a three-game set in College Park against Indiana (Apr. 10-12). The month for the Terps will end with consecutive road series against Iowa (Apr. 17-19) and Michigan State (Apr. 24-26).

May begins at home for Maryland, as Michigan makes its way to College Park (May 1-3). The Terps then head on the road for the final time in the regular season to New Jersey, for three games at Rutgers (May 8-10). The Terps will close out the regular season at home once for the third consecutive season, with Penn State coming to The Bob for the final conference series of 2026 (May 14-16).

The non-conference slate for the Terps will be announced on a later date. Game times and television designations will also be announced at a later time.
