
Maryland to Play NC State in Exhibition

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland women's basketball team will play NC State in The Bad Boy Mowers Series - Greensboro exhibition event this fall.
The Terrapins and the Wolfpack will play on Sunday, Oct. 26 at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. ET. The Wolfpack will play South Carolina in a second exhibition in the second game of the day, which is scheduled to tip off at 4:30 p.m.
Tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. Click HERE for tickets.
Both Maryland and NC State advanced to the 2025 Sweet Sixteen last spring.
The full schedule including exhibition matchups, the Big Ten conference schedule, game times and television will be announced at a later date.

The Terrapins earned a record of 25-8 this past season and tied Ohio State for third in the Big Ten with a record of 13-5 in conference play. The Terps advanced to their fourth Sweet Sixteen in five years.
Maryland returns All-Big Ten honorees Bri McDaniel and Kaylene Smikle, as well as starter Saylor Poffenbarger for the 2024-25 season.
Head coach Brenda Frese and her staff signed two transfers in Yarden Garzon (Indiana), Oluchi Okananwa (Duke), as well as freshmen Lea Bartelme, Addi Mack, Rainey Welson, Nicole Fritea and Maria Boiko.
