
Fifteen GymTerps Recognized as WCGA Scholastic All-Americans

COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced that 15 members of the University of Maryland gymnastics program earned WCGA Scholastic All-American honors, the organization announced Monday. The Terps finished with a team grade-point average of 3.6476 during the 2024-25 academic year.
To earn WCGA Scholastic All-American status, student-athletes must carry a GPA of 3.50 or higher throughout the 2024-25 academic year. This marks the fourth time in the past five years that Maryland has yielded 15 or more WCGA Scholastic All-Americans, and the 15 honorees ties for the second-most in program history with the 2020-21 and 2022-2023 squad.
Additionally, the GymTerps celebrated a spring semester GPA of 3.592. The GymTerps had eight 4.0 GPAs, nine Dean's List honorees and 15 honor roll individuals. The program also posted a perfect 1000 Academic Progress Rate (APR) for the fourth year in a row.
