New Leadership
- The Terrapins are 5-4 under head coach Michael Marchiano in 2025, winning three consecutive matches for the first time since Sept. 3-10 2023. All three of those wins also came in shutout fashion.
- Michael Marchiano was officially named head coach of the Maryland women's soccer program in December 2024 after serving as interim head coach during the latter part of the 2024 season. A Maryland alumnus and two-time national champion as a midfielder for the Terps in 2005 and 2008.
- Marchiano also spent time working with the Maryland men's soccer program as an assistant coach in November 2023, contributing to a 34-9-3 record and back-to-back NCAA Quarterfinal runs. His connections to Maryland athletics run deep, reflecting his long-standing history with the Terrapins.

- Kelsey Smith, Emily Lenhard and Tahirah Turnage-Morales have all been named 2025 B1G Players to Watch.
- Kelsey Smith, forward, and now a redshirt junior, played all 19 matches last season with 14 starts, logging 877 minutes. She recorded two goals, two assists, and five shots in a single match. Smith now leads the team in points, etching a total of ten after the Terrapins win against Indiana.
- Tahirah Turnage-Morales, a defender and redshirt sophomore in 2024, started all 19 matches, logging 1,612 minutes. She played the full 90 minutes in 16 games and took two shots on the season. Turnage-Morales has scored her first goal of the season in the match against Florida.
- Emily Lenhard, a midfielder, had an impressive 2024 freshman season, playing all 19 games with 13 starts and logging 1,185 minutes. She finished with one goal, three assists, and multiple multi-shot performances. She's now entering her sophomore year.
