COLLEGE PARK, MD – The University of Maryland baseball team began practice on Monday, January 12 ahead of the 2026 season.
The Terps will open the season on the road, traveling to UNC Wilmington for a three-game series beginning Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. The remaining games in the series are scheduled for Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. and Feb. 15 at 1 p.m.
Maryland will then host its first home game of the season against Georgetown on Feb. 17. The two teams met three times last season, with the Terps winning the opening matchup before dropping the final two contests.
The Terrapins return multiple key contributors from a season ago, including
Brayden Martin and
Aden Hill, who each made 55 or more starts during the 2025 season. Maryland also welcomes an impressive group of transfers, including
Antonio Morales (Wake Forest),
David Mendez (Vanderbilt),
Rylen Stockton (UNC Asheville),
Ryan Costello (LSU),
Jackson Sirois (Virginia), and
Lance Williams (East Carolina).

Single‑game tickets for the 2026 season will be announced soon. Fans interested in attending multiple home events can now purchase a Maryland Athletics Pride Pass for $59. The Pride Pass is an all‑Olympic sports season ticket that grants access to all regular‑season home contests for wrestling, baseball, men's lacrosse, and women's lacrosse during the 2025‑26 season.
