COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland gymnastics head coach Brett Nelligan has announced the 2027 schedule Wednesday afternoon. The schedule features six home meets, a slate of Big Ten competition and several challenging non-conference matchups.
New this year, all Maryland Gymnastics home meets will require a ticket for entry. Groups of 10 or more will be able to access discounts on group tickets and exclusive experiences. More information on tickets will be available in early December. If you'd like to be contacted when tickets and group experiences go on sale, fill out the ticket interest form HERE.
"We're excited to get the 2027 season started," said Nelligan. "This year's team is full of talented returners and newcomers as well. As a conference, the Big Ten is the best it has ever been, and fans will get to see some of the best gymnastics in the country week in and week out. You won't want to miss a single home meet!"
The 2027 schedule begins Saturday, Dec. 12, with the annual Red vs. Black Intrasquad meet in College Park. The GymTerps will open the new year at home on Sunday, Jan. 10, hosting Temple, LIU and Centenary.
Maryland will continue its home slate against Michigan on Jan. 17 before traveling to Piscataway, New Jersey, to face Rutgers on Jan. 24. The Terps will return to College Park to host Penn State on Jan. 31 and Iowa on Feb. 6.
The GymTerps will then head to Lincoln, Nebraska, to take on Nebraska on Feb. 13 before traveling to Seattle to face Washington on Feb. 21. Maryland will compete in the Big Quad, featuring Michigan State, Minnesota and Illinois, in East Lansing, Michigan, on Feb. 28.
Maryland will travel to Philadelphia to face Temple on March 6 before competing in two additional quad meets. The Terps will take on Towson, George Washington and Penn in Towson, Maryland, on March 12, then host Towson, George Washington and Bowling Green on March 14 in College Park.
The Big Ten Championships are scheduled for March 19–20 in Columbus, Ohio. The NCAA postseason will follow, with the first, second and third rounds scheduled for March 31–April 4. The NCAA semifinals and finals will take place April 15–17 in Fort Worth, Texas.
