Brenda Frese's Breakdown:
- "I thought it was a really good game for us against a really good Virginia Tech team, a team that went to the NCAA Tournament last year. You could tell they were really physical and aggressive and did a really good job on the glass."
- "I loved our battle. I thought we settled in in the second half."
- "We got to really work through a lot of lineups that we wanted to see."
- "I thought the confidence that we had stepping up to the free throw line 31 times was really impressive and will prepare us as we continue to move that needle as a team."
- "I thought Trinity was not afraid of the moment. I thought she came in and just played so hard with such a high motor. I thought Jordyn needed to settle in after that first shot, but then I thought she played like we know she knows how to play. Both have huge ceilings. They're dynamic scorers and defenders and are both so talented."
- "I love that we were able to win all four quarters. I love that stat specifically because it shows a level of consistency throughout the four quarters. That's the mentality that we should have every time we step out on the court."
Bri's Back:
- "For me, it was just pure excitement. I was just super excited to be back, especially with this team and coaches. It's been a long time since I've been back, so it was just indescribable."
- "Having a family around you that supports you through it all is just amazing. It was hard going through the process, but they made it way easier than I expected. I just had an amazing support system."
- "I'm just super grateful to be back with this team and this coaching staff. I'm going to keep saying it: I really love Maryland."

Gucci Lucci:
- "It's so amazing having Bri and Lea back and playing with a dog mentality."
- "I love this team. We're so long, athletic and versatile. I'm so excited because our ceiling's so high. This was an exhibition game. We're not even playing real games, so I can only imagine how we're going to look a few months down the line."
