The Terps battled the nation’s top teams in their three-set loss to the Cornhuskers.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland volleyball set a new program attendance record in its three-set loss (25-13, 25-20, 25-15) to No. 1 Nebraska on Saturday night on the main court at XFINITY Center. 15,127 fans came out to watch the Terps battle the Cornhuskers, but Nebraska snared the win to drop Maryland to 11-4 (1-3 Big Ten) in 2026.

Sydney Bryant led the Terps with eight kills, Brooklynne Brass tallied six kills and five digs, and Eva Rohrbach collected five kills and three blocks. Sara Toth recorded 21 assists. Maryland hung with Nebraska in each set of Saturday's clash, but the Cornhuskers stayed unbeaten and improved to 15-0 (4-0 Big Ten) in 2026. Not only was Maryland's 15,127-fan attendance mark a new program high (passing the previous 13,071 number from 2024), but it also ranked third in college volleyball this season and is the 33rd-largest crowd in NCAA history.
