
Terps Battle Bruins In Five-Set Loss

Maryland pushed one of the best teams in the Big Ten to the brink on Friday night on the XFINITY Center main court.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Terps fell to UCLA in five sets (25-23, 20-25, 25-21, 13-15, 12-15) on Friday night on the main court of XFINITY Center. Maryland fought with the Bruins, who entered the night at No. 14 in RPI and received votes in the AVCA poll, but fell to 11-5 (1-4 Big Ten) in 2026.
Maryland had four Terps with 10+ kills on Friday as Ava Brown (17 kills), Brooklynne Brass (15 kills), Sydney Bryant (15 kills) and Eva Rohrbach (11 kills) each logged big nights. Sara Toth had 53 assists and Raina Chwialkowski tallied 14 digs.
