COLLEGE PARK, MD – The University of Maryland women's tennis team win against Richmond 7-0 in their first match of today's doubleheader
The Terps earned the doubles point with victories from duos Ema Kovacevic and Emma Ghirardato and Aida Eissa and Diya Challa, their first match as a tandem.
In singles, Magdalena Baniak and Emma Ghirardato were the first two to win their singles matches, followed by Aida Eissa, giving the Terps the clinching point!
Tough wins from Lucia Donnelly, Oliwia Orlinska, and Ema Kovacevic launched the Terps to a 7-0 victory, improving to 5-0. Emma Ghirardato and Ema Kovacevic remain undefeated at #1 in doubles matches in the spring season.
