Maryland Women’s Tennis Wins 7 in a Row! Defeats James Madison in Impressive Showing

COLLEGE PARK, MD – The University of Maryland women's tennis team win against James Madison 6-1, extending their win streak to 7, the longest win streak to start a spring season since at least 1990.

The Terps earned the doubles point with victories from duos Aida Eissa and Diya Challa, and a 7-5 comeback victory from Magdalena Baniak and Oliwia Orlinska.

In singles, the Emma's, Ema Kovacevic and Emma Ghirardato, got the party started, and an additional win from Magdalena Baniak clinched the Terps the victory!

After Oliwia Orlinska fell in her match, Diya Challa won by forfeit, and Lucia Donnelly, who was down 2-4 in the second set, won in the third, making the final score of today's match 6-1.
