Maryland Football Announces Theme Games for 2026 Season

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Maryland football has set dates for a trio of marquee theme games for the upcoming 2026 season, it was announced on Thursday.

Family Weekend - September 26 vs. UCLA 
Homecoming - October 17 vs. Rutgers
Military Appreciation - November 14 vs. Wisconsin

Family weekend will occur on Saturday, Sept. 26, when the Terps open Big Ten play against UCLA. It will mark the Bruins' first visit to College Park since 1955.

Maryland's annual Homecoming game will be played on Saturday, Oct. 17, when Rutgers visits College Park. The teams will be meeting for the 13th consecutive season, with the Terps having won seven of the last 11 games. Additionally, Maryland has won six of its last eight Homecoming games.  

On Saturday, Nov. 14, Maryland will host Wisconsin for its Military Appreciation game. The Terps defeated the Badgers, 27-10, in Madison last season.
